DOHI established its environmental policy in 2004. Since then the organization has conducted environmentally friendly business activities based on ISOI4001 standards. Our company-wide effort of environmental responsibility includes the introduction of an electrical management system to cut electrical consumption, measures to reuse materials, steps to reduce industrial waste and the start of a solar power business venture.

Basic philosophy

The DOHI KENMA Corporation recognizes global environmental conservation as one of the most important world issues and promotes environment-improvement activities for our business.

Action plan

Our company shall design and produce construction parts and logistics-related equipment.We shall recognize and assess the environmental impact of our business and engage in the following environmental activities in an effort to reduce the environmental impact:
1. We shall establish an environmental management system, endeavor to make continual improvements, and prevent environmental contamination caused by business activities.
2. In our business activities, we shall abide by the environment laws, regulations, agreements, and other requirements on which we have agreed.
3. We shall set purposes and goals for the environmental management system and address the folloing issues as important themes:
(1) Reduction of energy consumption
(2) Reduction of scrap material is left over from production
(3) Reduction of industrial waste and promotion of recycling
